The Asociación de Mujeres Empresarias Asháninkas Iroperanto Koya (AMEAIK) was founded in October 2020 by 40 associates from 10 Asháninka native communities, in the District of Puerto Bermudez, province of Oxapampa, Department of Pasco, Peru.

Leading this inspiring initiative is Judith Reymundo, a woman whose courage and determination emerged from the loss of her daughter and the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic brought to communities. A moment in which she not only faced her tragedy but decided to be the light that illuminates the path of many indigenous women and their families.

With a vision to change the reality of her people, Judith took on the role of president and forged the identity of AMEAIK, an indigenous community business that not only sells products but also weaves networks of hope and opportunities.

As president, she has worked to formulate a viable idea and EcoTienda brand as an Indigenous community business. At the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023, she began to identify national and international partners so that there is also a Community Resource Center that can reinforce its success.
